Indian visa for medical treatment: hospital letters, attendants and timing

Treatment in India needs a medical visa, a hospital letter and, for anyone travelling with you, an attendant visa.

The hospital letter

Ask the hospital for a letter naming the patient, the treatment and the dates. It must match the dates on your application.

Up to two attendants can apply with the patient. Each needs their own documents and a letter explaining the relationship.
